This App has been developed by the North West London Critical Care Network to provide easily accessible information pertinent to the transfer of critically ill patients.
Its aim is to allow quick reference to key content in order to aid the stabilisation and transfer of critically ill adult and paediatric patients, and those with subspecialty needs.
The content is written by clinicians with extensive experience in transferring and retrieving critically ill civilian and military patients with varied specialist pathologies.
Our hope is that it will improve the standard of transfers, the accompanying documentation and, ultimately, contribute to improved patient safety.
